- To reserve an appointment date, a 30% non-refundable/non-transferable retainer must be received within 72-hours of service agreement and/or invoice receipt.
- Retainers will be applied to your total service fee and can be submitted via invoice (PayPal or Square) or credit card.
- For Bridal Parties, a single point of contact must coordinate all services even if bridal party members are paying separately.
- All payments are considered final upon receipt.
- Full balances are due at the time services are received - no exceptions.
- Ensuring full payment is the sole responsibility of the person(s) who has signed the service agreement and payments not received in accordance with agreement terms and conditions are subject to additional recovery fees.
- Payments can be made via cash, credit card, money order, cashier’s check, or PayPal. Money orders and cashier’s checks should be made out to Modernly Beautiful Makeup, LLC.
- Personal checks are not accepted.
- No Shows and Appointment Delays
- No shows will be charged the full agreed upon service fee.
- A late fee of $25.00 will be charged for every 30 minutes a client delays a scheduled appointment.
RESCHEDULING AND CANCELLATIONS
- After an appointment is confirmed, clients must provide 48-hours’ notice to reschedule.
- Rescheduled appointments must be booked within 45-days of the initial request to reschedule. If an appointment is not rescheduled or the date exceeds 45-days the retainer is forfeited and a new retainer is required to secure a new appointment.
- Cancellation requests received prior to 24-hours will be billed at 50% of the agreed upon fee.
- Cancellation requests received within less than 24-hours will be billed at the full agreed upon fee.
- Cancellations on peak days such as Saturdays, Sundays and Federal Holidays will be billed at the full rate regardless of the notification period.
- Modernly Beautiful Makeup, LLC reserves the right to reschedule consultation appointments within 72 hours at no charge to the client.
- If Modernly Beautiful Makeup, LLC must cancel a scheduled appointment, other than a consultation, or is unable to perform the agreed upon service, the retainer will be fully refunded in the original payment form. The client agrees that the 100% refunded retainer is the only liability to Modernly Beautiful Makeup, LLC.
MILEAGE, TRAVEL, AND ACCOMMODATIONS
- For onsite locations access to a table, chair, and electrical socket must be provided.
- Mileage fees will apply for locations exceeding 25 miles RT from Upper Marlboro, MD (20774) at a rate of $1.25/mi.
- 25 miles round trip is included complimentary with each service appointment from zip code 20774. Round trip mileage that exceeds 25 miles will be charged at $1.25/mile. In Studio appointments are also available.
- Where parking, valet or toll fees may be incurred; the amount will be included with the final bill and due for payment on the day of service.
- All travel costs for a booked service are to be paid by the client. Costs may include, but are not limited to: airfare, hotel, transportation, parking, per diem, incidentals, and all taxes.
- Locations must have easily accessible parking.
