Final payments for large events, such as weddings, are due in full 24hrs prior to your event date. Payments, except gratuities, are not accepted onsite the day of. With such a eventful day this ensures a smooth and seamless service experience for all parties. Ensuring full payment is the responsibility of the person who booked the services and payment links can be used multiple times for split payments.

As a professional artist, I am not committed to any one brand. Products are selected based on quality and to ensure clients receive the outcome they desire as well as to compliment specific skin and hair needs and to withstand environmental conditions.

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY APPOINTMENT?

We sure do! Modernly Beautiful Makeup began offering hair services during the 2018 wedding season. Please contact for additional information. If you are receiving hair services, please arrive to your appointment with freshly washed and blow dried hair free from product build-up.

The evening before your appointment, I recommend using a gentle exfoliate. The day of your appointment please arrive with moisturized skin free from any makeup residue. We will take it from there.

Modernly Beautiful Makeup, LLC takes precautions to mitigate any adverse reactions caused directly or indirectly by services rendered. We ensure all brushes and makeup products are kept sanitary between each application as well as utilize makeup products that are hypoallergenic. As a client, we ask that you assist by disclosing any additional information that may impact the quality of your service. ​

They are strongly recommended but not required. Consultations are an opportunity for both the artist and the bride to work together to craft a look that is tailored specifically to your needs and expectations as well as to mitigate any delays executing your final look on the day of your wedding.

25 miles round trip is included complimentary with each service appointment from zip code 20774. Round trip mileage that exceeds 25 miles will be charged at $1.75/mile. For locations outside of the immediate Washington, DC area or destination weddings, please contact Modernly Beautiful Makeup directly to inquire about rates. In Studio appointments are also available. 

DO YOU HAVE COVID-19 POLICIES?

We sure do! Each client will be required to complete a COVID-19 Waiver before service and adhere to state guidelines. Artists and Stylists will use face masks/shields, and gloves (for makeup) during your service.

Standard appointments last 40 minutes to 1.5 hours depending on the look selected. Bridal consultations are up to 2 hours.
